Quote from: Kalevala on October 10, 2024, 06:27:12 PMOne question:  outside of country and bluegrass, do you think that people really appreciate the ability of a band to be able to harmonize?  Maybe I should say these days?

K
Great question!

Quote from: Archaic Torso of Apollo on October 10, 2024, 04:20:51 PMHey, I like "Maxwell's Silver Hammer"!

Agree with this one - no idea what it's doing there.

My choice: "Moonchild" from In the Court of the Crimson King. (Maybe I'd like it more if they cut half of it.)

"Moonchild" is my favorite track from the first album, and one of my all-time favorites from King Crimson in general.

I believe that it's a boxed set re-mastered of various albums of theirs.   I trust in them.

And so glad that you did enjoy it.

Reviewing the track list. Mostly feeling I'd had enough of "21st Century Schizoid Man," I guess. Definitely going to revisit the album.

I suppose it's possible to overlisten to "Schizoid Man."

I admit that I don't like Court as much as the Larks-Starless-Red trio of albums. Still, it's a hell of a way to get started.
