I came across a more interesting list, a prog rock forum had a huge vote to construct top prog rock albums culminating in some early Genesis album (from Gabriel days) as the top choice.  They had detailed explanations too, and it looked like a good guide for me to expand my horizons.  I'll post the link when I'm home.

I don't like much prog rock - but can appreciate the site recommended in the OP.
