Yes, Rosenthal is jazzy if not flamboyant like Cortot. I guess Rubinstein wanted to play Chopin less sentimental and more intellectual/spiritual?

In the U.S.A., the prices of Hardcover and paperback are $140 and $120, respectively.

Yep, out of print. These are the kind of things that make me wish it weren't so hard for books to pass into the public domain. So many books don't have enough interest to keep publishing, so they end up becoming unavailable to the few that do want to read them.

You might be able to borrow it from a library or see if you can read it at a college that has a good music library.
