That Harnoncourt looks tempting!
There's also Brilliant's Tchaikovsky box at Amazon de.
But really, isn't this the material of the chat thread or diner - Harnoncourt & Maazel vs Rieu & Boccelli  ;D

The Tchaikovsy already came up a couple of times at UK. Regardless the DE site generally tends to have low prices on many items of interest (mine at least).

Who said anything about "versus"? I was just letting you know what's out there. ;)

Amazon Spain has been even better for me - and they're deliveries arrive faster than Am. UK or DE, which should be a bit strange.

Cool. Did you also PM the Rieu and Boccelli fans on the forum, in case they don't check this topic?  ;D

Well played. I thought the UK was getting much better classical deals from Amazon, but it looks like that's true of the EU.

I hope it's okay to mention digital downloads on this topic. From December 1st to 24th www.eclassical.com has two albums a day -50% off (click the "classical advent calendar" banner on the front page). One from BIS and one from PentaTone, around five bucks for an album. It's a christmas thing, they did it last year too and there were some really great records for sale back then. In addition to that they still have their "daily super bargains", -50% off one album every day (mostly older BIS releases).

edit: Around five bucks for a 16bit version I mean. 24bit versions cost a bit more.

Brilliant's 51-disc Shostakovich Edition for 36 € at German Amazon (nah, I'm not going to buy it - although it's pretty sweet, considering Delos's song recordings are apparently included in the box)

You know, all these super duper cheap bargains are sending me to bankruptcy....

Ordering that one, plus the Muti Cherubini Anniversary box from EMI and the Menuhin 10 CD Concertos box, each listed for approximately 10 Euros and 12 Euros before VAT is taken off and shipping added on.

Unfortunately downloads still coat money too. Lack of liner notes/artwork is why I've not committed to them.

Complete Lester Scarlatti from Nimbus for $32 in mp3 format http://www.amazon.com/Complete-Sonatas-Mp3-Edition-Scarlatti/dp/B0091EF2YK/ref=pd_sim_m_5

I bought the Haydn symphonies and the Bach organ MP3 boxes and they were fine. Your player needs to play MP3 though.

Avoid the Aeolian Haydn. Dreadful sound, some wayward playing. Awful. The Angeles has been re-released in a cheap box.
