Shoutout to GMG from Canada

Hi GMG 

I live in Canada. As a teenager I'm trying to explore more and more classical music, and also music theory and styles. I play the piano, currently learning Chopin's Etude op.10 no.3 "Tristesee" ( the middle section poses a challenge  ) and the trombone in my secondary school's wind orchestra and senior jazz band.

The composers that are among my favourites are Beethoven, Mahler, Chopin, Bruckner, Mozart and Shostakovich.  0:) I'm trying to learn to appreciate works written after the 20th century  Since this forum is such a knowledgeable source and it houses many musically savvy members, I also look forward to meeting you all and learning from you  I will also do my best to exchange my knowledge (which frankly, isn't a big deal comparing to many here) and ideas in the most constructive and friendly ways

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone, I'm from Vancouver, one of the most multicultural cities in this country, and I'd say for the most part people get along very well. Love the air, the weather here when it's not raining (however it rains almost as much as London).   

In case you are wondering, my avatar is flag of the place in which I was born (back in 1991)...I was raised both here and there.
