What has GMG come to?  Another meaningless poll.   ::)

Why can't everyone on here be competent Julliard students, who know something about music.   >:(

Well, they're IN school, something isn't right about this statement... ::)

No, we're only qualified to post here if we've played professionally in an orchestra for at least 20 years.

Polls can actually be - and sometimes are - interesting! All you need is an interesting question. ::)
Polls can also be just good fun, sometimes...but most are utterly boring.

Anyway, I second Gurn: Bach wins, next topic. 8)

I'd vote for that option. Beethoven always wins.  8)

Polls are fun, and not to be taken too seriously.  Those who are passionate about not liking polls can skip over the threads.  Why the debate?  If you like them, do them.  If you don't, go to the next thread.

Your avatar says otherwise!

:D

Just going by past history. The current poll with Beethoven losing to Haydn is a first in the entire history of GMG! And it isn't over yet, there may be a surge of sentiment at the end... :)

PS - Haydn, Mozart & Beethoven are in a dead heat in my personal poll... ;)

Sure. They can be alot of fun, and sometimes educational. Life is too short to be serious and ssssNOB-bayyy.
