NON-HIP Bach: Bach on unusual instruments

I'm afraid I have no recommendations to make here--unless you're a HIP fanatic and regard a piano or valved trumpet as an unusual instrument for Bach's music. I'm interested in recommendations of Bach's music on unusual instruments that respect the music as Bach wrote it--I'm not really interested in jazz adaptations (Jacques Louiesser) in this thread, although I have nothing against them in principle. How about Bach on ukelele? Digeridoo? Bandoneon? C'mon, THINK, people!!!

The strangest (non) instrument Bach recordings I know of are by the Swingle Singers, sort of a scat meets Bach.  Although Bobby McFerrin does have a Bach dvd that's very strange too.   You can see some of his work at YouTube.
If that's not strange enough, here's a Youtube recording of Bach on Bagpipe.  Not really to my taste... 

Also, Andre Isoir has recorded all of Bach's works on calliope.  Is that strange enough?  Although the calliope is suspiciously like an organ, so it may be too conventional for you.

I recommend 'Bach in Brazil' from EMI.

This is Bach played by a Choro group on guitars, percussion, contrabass and summat called the cavaquinho

They tackle bits of The Italian Concerto, Two-part invensions, Double Violin Concerto, Brandenburgs, partitas etc. It works...it works well.
