It's all pre-season until September.

Cardinals vs. Giants. The last two World Series Champions. The Pride of the National League, the Class of Baseball. What a series this will be.

Hey, it's still almost all accurate!

I'm really pulling for the Cardinals but I like the Royals, too. I'd be happy if either one of these teams won the World Series.

For the record, my four three favorite teams are:

Orioles (the team I loved as a kiddo), Rockies (they're our home team), Expos (team I watched live as a kiddo), and of course, whoever is playing the Yankees. ;)

Well, my O's are in a bit of trouble.  My hometown team, the Rockies, are a disaster, and the Expos are extinct (never have attached to the Nationals).  Still, it has been fun having a horse in this year's race.  Not over, but my Birds have a lot of work to do against a team that runs like the wind.

You have got to hand it to the Giants, they played some hellacious ball last night. Bumgarner is just an outstanding pitcher. Amazing that he was drafted right out of high school and has helped the Giants win three World Series. The best pitcher in the world right now? Possibly.

My "Who's Who in Baseball - 98th edition" came in the mail yesterday and spring training games are about to begin!

(Helps me ignore the snow and howling wind outside my window at the moment.)

Time to start ignoring the snow again, Tony! ;D

Now listening:

Go O's and Rocks!

Nats fan here. Been a fan since they were refounded in 2005. Maybe this year we won't lose.

Cool.  I was a huge Expos fan as a kid.

I'm trying real hard, Bogey! The Hot Stove League has now moved on to spring training, so opening day isn't too far away.

Hopefully, this will be gone by then.

Go Yankees!

It will feel strange without Jeter.

Even stranger with A-Rod!   :)

The Tribe are looking real nice, particularly with the play of Andrew Miller.

Would be cool to see them win a first championship since 1948.  ???

Sorry Ken.  ;D

I hope the Cubs lose in heartbreaking fashion - like a missed called, a baserunning gaffe, etc., just so the Cubs fan can be miserable.

GO INDIANS !!!!

I am hoping for a Chicago-Cleveland series.

Really similar logos would enrich the battle for sure.  :P

vs.

Also, I liked LeBron's celebrations at the game yesterday even though he is (or at least used to be) a Yankee fan.  8)

I am from New England (long story of how I became an Orioles' fan as a kid) and let me tell you, one of the hardest things for some of the hard core Red Sox fans after winning the World Series was trying to recapture their sincere misery.  In fact, some of my Sox friends were miserable about not being able to be miserable. ;D

As an Indians fan, I completely understand how important misery is  ;D
