In the event that you notice and wonder at a couple of missing posts, well, I removed them due to the impropriety of the first and the redundancy of the other 2 after the first was gone.

Nothing to see here, move along, move along...  $:)

So.  Your real job is tending to flower beds?  Nice.

My real job is to sit and enjoy them.

I work in the ugliest of buildings imaginable  :-\

Fortunately it will be teared down quite soon! ;D ;D

This will be the new building, don't know if it's any improvement.... ::)

They have just finished the foundations for the new building (old building is the white tower on the left)

Now this is where I want to work! ;D  The old location - the building from 1883 is now used as office space for the lower house of parliament.

Hey Que, seems I live only a mile or so from where you work! Unfortunately my place of work is in Rijswijk (pic above)  :(

I don't have any pictures of my workplace, but my job essentially consists in designing simple panel systems for both interiors and exteriors, and i'm often around construction sites of all types when i'm not confined in my cubicle. Not very pretty. Ironically, one of my last jobs was the Holocaust Museum in Illinois, the entire exterior paneling drawn by yours truly and fabricated and installed by my company, ha ha.  :D

And the view of the harbor from nearby Rowe's Wharf.

So you're a sailor. A Dutch sailor, to be exact?

Did you convert since[1]?

1) Don't know if you can convert to judaism if you have no jewish mother nor relatives...

Ha Que!

A bit (too) late, but I actually had a working room in this building - the former Ministry of Justice, now part of the Dutch Parliaments complex - between 1991 and 1994, to be precise. Yes, it's nice, but no: I don't miss it. The fulfilment of the dream is often the end of it too, isn't it?  8)  :)
... music is not only an 'entertainment', nor a mere luxury, but a necessity of the spiritual if not of the physical life, an opening of those magic casements through which we can catch a glimpse of that country where ultimate reality will be found.    RVW, 1948

You can convert even if you have no mother at all.

I like this pic very much.  Never been there, but there is drama, God, culture and a pioneer spirit about 'off School Street' on a glum day.
