Hi,
Just checking in here, I see a few familiar faces about and look forward to actively contributing to the forums.

Hi Simon, and welcome from NYC.  What are you listening to lately?

Hi Bruce,
Thank you for the welcome, I listen to all kinds of things both as an early pressing CD collector and general music enthusiast. I listen to mainly classical, Bach & Mozart are favs, but find myself listening to all kinds of music both classical and R&P. As a collector this can be a great way to be introduced to new material as well. I am sure I will learn a lot here too  ;D

I am an Organ music fan as well, finding Messiaen, Bach, Widor and other French romantics quite often in the CD player.

Audio and Astronomy are a big things with me too, hence the username!!.

Regards,

Simon  :)

Hi Simon!

Which bit of the east coast would that be, then? Not (that) far from the Norfolk coast myself...

Suffolk, close to the Norfolk border  :)

To be more precise, I'm in Norfolk, close to the Suffolk border (about a mile away, in fact).  ;D Though I'm probably at the other end of the county...

Don't be misled by those familiar faces because they are just avatars. I'm new here too but I've already found out that these people don't really look like a racoon, a chicken, Ritchie Blackmore or Sviatoslav Richter. I've decided to play along with this strange behavior by making them believe that I look like Martha Argerich while in fact I look more like a valkyrie.  ;)
Martha doesn't signal when the orchestra comes in, she's just pursing her lips.

Welcome from me too, on Kent/Sussex border.

Another warm welcome - this time from (the Dutch-occupied territories of) Lower Saxony.   ;)
