Well, I've been daft enough to try Malcom Arnolds symphonies as a sleeping partner, never did it again.
If you sleeep with music somewhere in the background, what kind of things do you listen to?  I know that not everyone plays music during sleep, but some of us certainly do.  Tonight, Bach is my bedmate  :o  with the following...

Ack, don't sleep to classical music! If anything, try this:

The only classical-musical things I've slept to, in recent memory, are Mahler's 8th(!) and 2nd, and - yes - J. S. Bach's Goldberg Variations.

Edit: Now that I've re-read the OP more carefully, let me note that this is not music I've slept to, as such - I don't sleep to music, unless that music is in my head! But I have listened to the above either in bed (Mahler 8th), or in preparation for going to bed (Mahler 2nd, Goldbergs).
