(Just in case anybody who would be interested misses this news in the Arnell thread).

Richard Arnell, the distinguished British composer, died on April 10th. He was 91 years old. Extraordinarily, as far as I know, the death of this magnificent composer has yet to be acknowledged in any British quality newspaper.

SO regrettable that I have heard so much good things about this compoer from respected members of GMG yet he passed away before I have heard a single note of his music!

R.I.P.
Do what I must do, and let what must happen happen.

Try symphonies 3-5.
