I just sent you a note, wondering the same thing!

Awhile ago there was NO ONE on the site, which I've never seen.  Maybe it's just such a beautiful day, all over the world, that no one is inside at their computers.

Well, the "guests" in this case were spiders, so you can't really count them anyway. But I have never, ever, been the only name on the members present list. Thanks god you showed up, I was getting scared.... ;D

I had the place to myself awhile ago, too--very eerie.

So...

Well...

So, how about those Yankees?!   ;D  They just cut the top ticket price in half, from $2,500 to $1,250!  So now no one has any excuse *not* to go.

I was amused by that. Not to wax nostalgic, but it reminded me strongly of the times (late 1970's) when I used to go to Candlestick Park in San Francisco to watch a team of non-juiced-up ball players, and get the bus both ways, a bleacher seat, and a hot dog-and-a-Coke, all for less than $5. So it goes. :)

People, you can't get digital swine flu over the Internet, and even if you could, a pair of latex gloves would protect you. Just sayin'...   :D

I was not able to access the site for hours today (4/30). I got the screen I get when my computer gets disconnected from the internet.

Opus106

Site had been down for the past thirty minutes or so. But even during the evening here -- a few hours ago -- there was little activity and the number of people online was less than ten.

Site had been down for a few hours;  you gents must have chanced upon it (like the Norwegian Blue) just as it were waking up.

I was afraid my computer was infected, now I have a mask and gloves.  If everyone can refrain from coughing into their monitors, the site will probably remain safe

Hey Gurn, it's been an awfully quiet forum lately, from the looks of it! We just had a surprising posting drought...an hour and a half during which the only people viewing the forum were me and tanuki.

Diletante

Hehe. Well, I was supposed to go out tonight but kind of got stood up, so I started reading old threads instead. How fun!  ::)
