Spatial distortion is a serious problem deteriorating headphone listening.
Crossfeeders reduce spatial distortion and make the sound more natural
and less tiresome in headphone listening.

No, you seem to have missed the point ( :o ).  Those letters were already covered with an international selection (following your posting candidates for E-H) when I realized that Owlice most likely intended the list to comprise Americans (in honor of our Independence Day).  In which case the preceding four ought be: Elfman, Foster, Gershwin, Higdon.

Morgan, as in Justin Morgan, horse-breeder and Yankee tunesmith. Although the "Better Music Boys" among you might go with Lowell Mason instead.

Schwanter?? On the 4th of July?? If only there was an American composer whose name begins with S who is indelibly associated with today, something about stars and stripes, maybe? ;D

Oh, and by the way, that Z all y'all are looking for? ZAPPA.
