@SurprisedByBeauty I'm all in for YT content! There is not enough CM discussion on YT, it seems like it is mostly people posting recordings for Karl to listen to. >:D

For those following along with my phone's attempts to identify the songs I'm listening to...I recently listened to "Clair de lune" and it correctly identified it! Then it told me that the artist is "Johann Debussy"  ;D

It probably mixed him up with Claude Lévi-Strauss;D

Thanks much! We've been putting up more, since... and the latest, on Penderecki, might be our best yet, methinks. (Certainly our most-watched, so far, by two miles.)

Today, something kinda bizarre happened.  On another website, entirely unrelated to music and where I do not post about music, I got a new follower: Claudio Colombo.  Yes, it is that Claudio Colombo.  His user profile links back to his website.  What are the odds?

Here's more for Karl - and those like-eared ones.  ;D

Two, no, three episodes, in fact...

there's

Classical Discoveries - #020 : ALEXANDER ZEMLINSKY - The Opera Composer #podcast

This one was blocked, at first, on YouTube in the United States -- due to "taking influence on politics from abroad" or some such charge. Clearly a case of mistaken identity, confusing poor, height-challenged Zemlinsky with mildly height-challenged Zelensky.  8)

Classical Discoveries - #021 : FRANZ SCHREKER: an old-fashioned modernist

I'm still kicking myself that I had forgotten my lady-luring collection of recordings at home...  ::)

In between, and fitting for the New Year, there was a podcast on Strauss Jr. & his contemporaries:

Classical Discoveries - #20 : JOHANN STRAUSS II and his Contemporaries
