Hi. I am contemplating restorations of some rare 16-inch transcriptions, from the earlier '50's, and was wondering if anyone would buy CD copies if I did so. Some are from Austrian and Czech radio...mostly well-known works, but with rare fare as far as the conductors go. Others are of South African origin, and French radio sources, with a few Swiss obscurities, as well. Most are studio jobs, but some are live. Oboussier's "Antigone" & a Walther Geiser symphony, with Ansermet/Florent Schmitt Sym. #2-French Nat'l Orch. under Charles Munch/Marcel Landowski & Raymond Loucher's first symphonies under Manuel Rosenthal/Koechlin's Poem for horn & Orch., with Edmond Appia conducting(this is really nice)/a lot of Vienna stuff under Swarowsky, Graunke, Heger(a Franz Schmidt Sym. #1 is pretty nice)/Karl-Rudi Griesbach's African Sym., with the Dresden Phil., under Kurt Masur/works of Pfitzner, Ludig, & Schreker, etc. Let me know of any of this might "float your boat". Thanks.  SS  (spcv1@netzero.net)
