Good stuff James. They'll be a party on our side of the fence, possibly sooner than Mensch fears...

The sad fact is that those of us who have some familiarity with the things being discussed are only trying to help you understand how the world works.  We are not threatened by the fact that you can't understand and refuse to listen to what we are trying to explain to you, any more than we would be threatened by a petulant pre-schooler who insists that 1 + 1 = 3.  Your self-professed insight rings hollow when we consider that you have never actually done anything except explain to us how brilliant you are.  Our confidence comes from the fact that we actually do something with our knowledge.  If we are in physics, we might do something like build an apparatus that cools atoms to within a few millionths of a degree of absolute zero.  In biology we will take satisfaction from introducing a human gene into a bacteria and causing it to produce a human protein.  Metalurgists feel a warm glow after predicting the failure limit of a new titanium turbine blade, aeronautical engineers will design a wing that produces more lift with less drag.  Our self-esteem does not come from thes web sites, and it is not threatened by the fact that the tin-hat brigade doesn't understand what we are trying to explain to them.   Mainly we are just mystified that someone can know so little and yet have such a high opinion of him or herself.

Mensch, I guess you're talking about the same loony fringe who doubted there were government cover ups of the bombing of Cambodia or of transfers of funds to Nicaragua from sales to Iran, to mention two such events without even thinking.

Scarpia, the alternative 9/11 views are not wacky- that's why they get my attention: they're investigated by professionals who understand that 1+1=2. I appreciate your comments but my high opinion of myself isn't relevant. Peace.

Don't flatter yourself. You're no Cy Hersh.

Professionals, maybe. But not professionals in the profession about which they profess to have a competent opinion. I don't much care for a dentist's opinion on aerodynamics.

No idea who Cy is...

Very funny, but just not the reality. Seriously you should do some more browsing on YT.

Seymour Hersh. If you actually had any idea about the scandals you referenced in your earlier post, you'd know who that is.

Yes, why torture yourself with a lot of mathematical equations when you can just watch a youtube video.  Duh!   ::)
