My upload! :D Great video and performance. I have many classical YouTube videos collected there in my profile. When I was bored over the holidays, I was putting in conductors' names one night and it turned up a lot of nice videos.  Most all of the well-known ones are represented. There's a lot of Furtwangler, fascinating, and it was nice to get to see Knappertsbusch, Bohm, and Kubelik in action. But the Carlos Kleiber videos are my favorites. ;)

A few good ones:

Barenboim conducting the "Nimrod" variation in tribute to Solti after his death

Bernstein with a wild Tchaikovsky 5th Finale

A staged Boulez Le Sacre from Paris 2002:

Part 1 of several

Dohnanyi rehearsing the Philharmonia in Haydn:

Part 1 of several

Very funny Morecambe & Wise comedy bit with Previn

My favorite Carlos Kleiber video:

Strauss - "Unter Donner und Blitz"

And this is cute:

Children's Day at the Halle Orchestra

There are also a huge amount of pianist and vintage opera clips there.

Here's an actual classical music video (short promo film a la MTV) of Bach performed by Magdalena Kozena:

Cziffra plays Liszt's Grand Galop Chromatique

Forgot about that one; amazing! If you like Cziffra, also be sure to check out this clip of him improvising as a warmup. He does some crazy stuff, and also rips off a large chunk of Chopin's 10-1 in the middle at lightning speed!

On the topic of improvisation, also check out this one of Victor Borge. At the end of the concert, the violinist suggests an encore which was not planned but Borge decides to go for it anyway and improvises an accompaniment on the piano. Hilarious to watch his facial expressions when his improvisation actually matches the mood of the violinist's playing!

Another Borge favourite can be seen here. The inspiration for the melody of Tchaikovsky's 1st piano concerto? ;D Just search for "Victor Borge", there's heaps of other Borge videos around.

So many great videos, so little time! Are we allowed to post videos here? I think it might be great to start like a little encyclopedia of gems we've found.

I'll start, one of Paganini's Caprice, Stunning!:
