In Isaac Asimov's story The Bicentennial Man, a robot gradually replaces his artificial parts with organic parts until he is entirely organic and, thus, mortal. Only after his death is he post-humously awarded the label 'human'.

So, you know, you could test him that way. Of course, i'm not going to tell you to 'terminate' him, but if I may paraphrase another sci-fi legend, Dr Hubert Farnsworth, I'm certainly thinking it very loudly.  ;)

'Some Guy' is so far, according to the poll, something other than human or alien, or....a banana.  ;D

The reason I started this poll was that 'some guy', on another thread, said his statement "I'm human" was up for debate (as a joke.........I think :o)

I wish I'd seen this thread four years ago.

Such fun!

At least I've finally spotted it. Perhaps my circuitry was misfunctioning. (Heads are gonna roll over this. Bowling balls as well. Serious rolling.)

Anyway, I think I would have chosen "Banana." It's often the option of choice for me.

I'm listening to a radio show right now on which I am the guest. Through the miracle of technology. (We recorded this four days ago.) I must say, I sound pretty convincingly human.

I would still have chosen "Banana, though."
