Old Sesame Street from the 70s was cool.  Right not it sucks.  Muppet Show was always awesome.  They should resurrect it. 
"Elmo wants to know moore.  It's Mr. Noodle's cousin, Mr. Noodle"  UGH!

Elmo using incorrect grammar (saying "Elmo like" instead of "I like")
Oscar the Grouch's mood swings
Grover taking lessons in civil disobedience from a hippie
A muppet with AIDS
Fast segments causing ADD in kids
An Arab muppet in the Israeli Sesame
General liberal bias

I have and love this DVD (and the follow-up set):


But what gets me is that it begins with a disclaimer that these shows may not be suitable for today's children. Worse yet, it never explains why, so you have to speculate.
