XB-70 Valkyrie

Any thoughts on this violinist? I have some of his recordings on Decca LPs from the 50s (Mozart Duos, Pieces by Martinu with Lilian Fuchs, etc.), and picked up another one over the weekend (Strauss and Debussy sonatas). I haven't had time to listen to it yet.
