Hi, i am new here : )
I have been wondering why the songs of Chopin (somebody here was writing about them... MACIEJ???) arent sung more often by male-singers? His song-output is after all a very heterogenous one, and many of them a more suitable for males (Hulanka, Narzeczony, Wojak etc.).

Moreover, i think it is little inappropriate to perform them in the sequence organised by Fontana (as opus "74"). Even a chronological would be better a better one, i think.

Hyvää iltaa abidoful.

We have a couple of members here from Finland. The person most likely to have been writing about Chopin would have been Maciek, he is from Poland. But I cannot find anything when I use the 'search' facility. I will let him know that you are interested. The most likely place he would have discussed this is either on a Chopin thread, or in the Vocal room where there are a lot of threads about specific vocal works or recordings.

You'll have to use google until Rob fixes our search engine. :)  I googled Chopin song site:http://www.good-music-guide.com/community and got results.
