Dunkin Donuts

I went there to get something to drink, and I was surprised at the level of complete immaturity of the adults there, fighting on the line, who was before who, pushing, and insulting and creating small speeches about the importance of respecting the line.

In all the commotion I decided to say something.

I said :" Don't worry, everybody is going to get their donuts' and as a good will gesture I gave up my turn to the lady behind me, and then I said that this was for the sake of 'peace', and I even helped with some money to the same lady who didn't have small change to pay for the tax.

The whole mood of the place had changed, smiles were rolling out, no more fighting, and the staff was very pleased.

Its so funny and also sometimes strange, to see adults fighting like little kids about who is going to get their coffee and donuts first...

I was standing in line in a Dunkin Donuts recently and everyone was quite well behaved until I pulled out a knife and stabbed the woman standing in front of me. There was a big commotion with people screaming and running around. I ran out of there like a shot 'cause man, I didn't feel safe at all! I thought I might be killed or injured severely by these incredibly indignant customers.

So that just goes to show you have to be really, really careful which DD you go to.

One question...

How was Mars?

MN Dave

I once went into a Dunkin Donuts and bought a donut. Crazy, but true.

About what you'd expect. The coffee wasn't that good. Not enough atmosphere, too much radiation. It's no wonder everyone was so touchy.

Must be an American thing. Here it is; who gets served at the bar, with a glass in the face if conflict erupts. Perhaps pubs should sell donuts, a lesser form of strife ensues.
