So Missing Members are simply lost in time and we need to mount an expedition to bring them back.

This is one of those moments where I am utterly grateful that the newer forum software makes unfollowing a thread very simple.
Every single post on the forum is unnecessary. Including the ones that are interesting or useful.

So you don't expect to find answers to the questions "Where Do We Come From? What Are We? Where Are We Going?" here on GMG?  :o

This answer was calculated by the supercomputer Deep Thought after 7.5 million years of computation. However, the actual question remains unknown".

Indeed no. I think we sorted all that out here sometime around 2009 ...

I frequently can't even find the answers to questions about solo piano or chamber music recordings here. Plus I understand you're supposed to go to Tahiti to answer those other questions.

Awesome, the first thing Todd shouldn't see when returning is the community deciding that he is some kind of time worm wiggling through space!

I may be late in the news (as always) but Gurn Blanston has not been posting since last year 🤨. Hopefully everything is ok with him.

Gauguin's painting «  "Where Do We Come From? What Are We? Where Are We Going?" «

I'm a sucker for side roads leading wherever. It bugs me no end to know that there is life - people, towns (somewhere beyond that crossing) that I know nothing about. My wife long ago decreed she'll have my tombstone inscription read 'Where does this road lead to ?'

So, Gauguin: let's discuss that over a Mai Tai - or two 🍸

This thread could be commercial, with a few more margaritas and the right company.

I was in contact with him recently. We mostly talked about dogs, but all is well!
