Quote from: vandermolen on November 23, 2025, 02:52:20 PMFine thank you. Although there are many discussions here along the lines of 'when are you going to clear out your man cave etc?'

Recalling past discussions, @Albion is the member who is most likely to be crushed by a pile of CDs. Albion has been inactive since February, so should we be concerned about that?

That's Philo / Philoctates, right? I know he's taken a few breathers in the past.

I will very much miss his contributions to the site. It is puzzling because he seems to have been an enthusiastic participant recently.

Yes, i hope he's ok. I enjoyed his contributions here.

He unfortunately quit over the gobbledygook nonsense "philosophy" thread in the Diner, which I confess I was avoiding because it was so impossible to understand. ritter asked everyone involved to be less silly and Simon seems to have taken it personally.

Karl Henning

Oh, I do hope he comes back.

That's apparently one of the threads I never open.

Hollywood Beach Broadwalk

I hope he returns, too. There are many threads on this site that are not worth the time, like that one.

Nor I...which is unfortunate for my job.  :'(

Kalevala

Oh, no!  Not Simon!   :(

I put an "ignore/don't be notified/whatever you call it" on that thread.

I do hope that Simon comes back.

(poco) Sforzando

Very sorry to lose both hopefullytrusting and SimonNZ in the same week. Hopefully both will come back soon.

Nostromo

I'm no longer missing  :) . I was appalled by the way some people were treated in the audio forum. Since I'm not a huge fan of social media anyway, it was hard to take. I enjoy the music threads and a few others, so I will confine myself to those.

@Kalevala, thank you for your kind words in the audio forum.

Madiel

I would rate SimonNZ as one of the most intelligent posters on the forum. I certainly hope he returns.
Nobody has to apologise for using their brain.

Welcome back...  :)

In general, it is wise not to waste time on threads that are a waste of time.  ;D
