What happened to 28Orot?

I am pretty sure his exit and the blowup of the Orlando thread were not unlinked.

I don't know why, but I find this whole situation particularly hilarious.

(Sorry to laugh at your misfortune :-[ -- hope it gets resolved.)

Speaking of which, where's EigenUser?

noticed that, but I'm assuming end of semester/start of summer in the real world is keeping him busy.

He's spectral.

Eigenuser would get the joke.

His usual modus operandi in other words.

But I was told: "we are going to put all that shit behind us and carry on now as though we are totally strangers meeting for the first time. Wouldn't you agree this is the best way to go? I think this is the New Saul... :) "

Would I have been better off to say "well, guys, this is gonna be the same old shit, let's go ahead and pile on now and get it over with..."?  You always hope for the best, and if you get kicked in the 'nads, at least you tried. :-\

Saul carries 4000 years of history in everything he thinks. A new Saul will forever be an illusion.

Well I think he was singled out on that thread. Lots of people posted about religion and their own version of it.

True. It was quite dissapointing to see him back to his old tricks, but in this particular case the blame wasn't entirely with him and I shouldn't have singled him out.

But those kind of threads are proverbial hotbeds and only breed hostile debating. If he couldn't take the heat, then he clearly should have gotten out of the kitchen. Also, I wasn't wrong at all in my foreseeing that he was going to end up isolating himself from every other member like he did the last time. Old habits die hard.

Saul had a nice comment about Karl Henning's Viola Sonata.

QuoteListening right now, so far so good. The piece is very reflective and entertaining, keeps you interested in the music and is not boring. It also has a quality of film music and can be easily used as a soundtrack. Good Job Karl, thanks for the listen.
