I wish I remembered this story accurately, but I paraphrase: Roy Harris told a fellow composer, "I've just finished my sixth symphony. Can you tell me why?"

I just started listening to this. The Howard concerto was premiered in 2015. No date for Stream of Limelight, but like the two concertos, Ehnes is the dedicatee or first performer.

The concertos turned out to live recordings, although only the applause gives that away.
Stream of Limelight is for violin and piano.
All three works well worth the listen.
