Is the Wand the one in that red Brahms box? I'm pretty sure that's on Spotify.

I own the Kleiber, of course. I'll have to try to find the other two you mention.

Mahler, you ought to go see it.
he was as f*cked-up as you are."

Yes.

Aha! I just got the Wand from tsrauser in the 'Buy, Sell, Trade' forum. I'll have to give it a hear now.

springrite

You could substitute Brahms with several dozen other names and that composer would still get my vote. No contest!

I prefer Brahms Chamber Music but in general I enjoy and listen to Tchaikovsky more often so he gets my vote! :)

madaboutmahler

Really difficult.....

If pushed, I think I would probably have to say Tchaikovsky.

I asked Mrs. Rock to vote in the poll. She wanted to know the choices. Tchaikovsky or Brahms, says I. "Oh f--k," says she.

She wants the banana option...or Dvorak.

Now it can be told: The correct answer is "Brahms."

I like Mrs. Rock.

She's always been crazy for Dvorak...even likes the early stuff like the D minor Fourth.

I admit, Tchaikovsky is loved by millions of drunks and people with nervous disorders.

Be kind to your fellow posters!!

Brahms, of course.  Which is the answer for all but 3 or 4 other composers.
