These words haunt me. What is the first thing you think about? Please don't be obvious.

I have a suspicion that this is a trick question and, what you want for you to go away and what you want for you to stay is the exact same thing.
Do what I must do, and let what must happen happen.

No, it's not really a trick, but, I like that it made you think that.

Seriously, it's from a popular novel, but the phrase itself stands out to me, and it just keeps 'floating' around my head. I'm just curious how it hits each reader.
