Hi my name is Lars and I live in Hamburg / Germany. From my childhood on, I played classical music, trumpet and later the bassoon. Now I'm mainly interested in recorded music (mainly chamber music), which means I'm a record collector (no CDs (I know what I'm missing)). I'm looking forward to virtually meet likeminded collectors and lovers of this timeless art.

Karl Henning

Hello, Lars and welcome to GMG! I am a clarinetist, but one of my old schoolmates was a phenomenal trumpeter.

Welcome aboard! Who are some of your favorite composers?

Welcome to the forum and have a nice time!
Glad to hear you played the trumpet and the bassoon, they're enchanting musical instruments; I've played the piano and the glockenspiel. As you're from Germany, I hope you like Wagner. :)
