Sibelius > Stravinsky > Schubert > Shostakovich = Strauss > Schumann = Satie = Saint-Saëns > Schoenberg > Schuman = Scriabin > Salieri = Scarlatti = Smetana = Szymanowski > Stockhausen
Alessandro or Domenico Scarlatti?
Schuman I assume is a typo, and not William Schuman?

Btw, where is Sousa in your list?  8)

I'm guessing below Szymanowski but above Stockhausen. . . .

Probably tied with Stockhausen. I'd have to hear Stimmung again to see if it holds up.  ;)

Nope. I meant Wm. Schuman, American composer of (among other things) a terrific symphony, violin concerto, and piano concerto.

Cool. Haven't heard any of his music, might try one of those.
Looking again at your post, I see that Schumann is there, too. :-[

[The guy to Suk's right was Strong... or, as some might say, mighty. I hate explaining jokes. :(]
