What a lovely bride!
Thank you Karl :)
Fortunately, for her, she looks like her mother.

Thank you PD. I also have to be careful not to take a photo of my thumb! Actually we went to two pubs - one after the ceremony and another one in the evening, although I don't want you to think that my daughter's wedding was a glorified 'pub crawl'  :o ;D
Yes, I've done that one too!  Normally, it's when I'm scrambling to get cell phone out and operating to take some pictures of birds (who are often way too far away to take a good photo of in any event). ::)

What did you do for dinner?  Or was that the evening pub?

Vandermolem - your daughter looks absolutely radiant and you suitably chuffed.  In my own stupid head I am shocked(!) you don't look more like Miaskovsky because I look strikingly like the one on the left in my avatar.

No offense intended, Vandermolen, but when I first saw your pic, I thought Bill Gates.

Made me laugh! Well, we are the same age but that's about all we have in common!

I had lunch in the pub where I took the nice photo of my daughter and new son-in-law.
I had a Plant Burger - it was very nice. My wife, daughter and son-in-law are all vegan and so am I, more or less, by default. At the school where I work I get a secret non-vegan lunch if I want it a couple of days a week. The pub kitchen had broken down due to an electric fault and by the time it was fixed it was mid-afternoon, so I did not want a meal in the evening. Some of my daughter's friends who we could not invite to the ceremony came to the evening pub and eat there.

I mentioned on another thread that my daughter was getting married and received some kind good wishes. The weather was appalling but we still had a great time. Here, with her permission, is a photo of the bride with her proud father:

Looking rather dapper, Jeffrey and your daughter looks beautiful.

I imagine that there are many more vegetarian and vegan options (even in old, established pubs) these days.  Any good restaurants that you like in your neck of the wood that you would recommend for someone wanting to eat healthfully--even if they do serve meat or fish there?

Thank you my friend. I'll pass your message on. I'm not sure that anyone's ever described me as 'dapper' before!

Of course, we haven't eaten out (until now) for a long time. There are lots of pubs in our area (rural East Sussex) which serve good food including vegetarian/vegan options. There is much more awareness of this now. Sometimes, however, the pubs will only have one vegan option (more vegetarian usually). If I wasn't surrounded by vegetarians and vegans (apart from the cat, who consumes anything) I'd probably eat Sausage, egg and chips, however, my mostly vegetarian diet is probably healthier. The cat likes porridge by the way - if I put my bowl down for a moment his head is stuck in it!

Here is a local pub which we like very much. I had the pleasure of taking Christo of this forum there when he visited us a while back:

Let's be honest, both his daughter and wife look beautiful and Jefferey is lucky to have them in his life!

Indeed.

Me as of yesterday (self portrait with cellphone):

Unfortunate with the cutoff but I actually have hair.  ;)

Mmmmm...my mouth is watering!  Bet that it's the milk in there?  Or do you use almond milk instead?

Well, you look well-groomed and sharply dressed as opposed to your normal look, which would be sloppy and not far removed from 'neanderthal-like'. ;) Just kidding of course! :P
