Thats because when you have some special feature your attention is put all on it  If your girlfriends boobs suddenly got smaller, you might realize just how ugly her face is  Plus I had longer hair then too, so my sideburns were poooofffyyy. They are starting to get that way again.

Yes, it's strange how different we look from one pic to the next, isn't it? Obviously beards and other hairy stuff play a large role. This is what M looks like without a beard. Well, technically it's not completely without, but this is usually as close as it gets since the beard starts growing back within minutes it seems of shaving.
