What do you look like?

Greg would kick my butt if I posted the picture of me with the Mahler 6 Hammer again, so I won't.

A friend and I went on a road trip to various geology-related sites in California earlier this summer.

What you cannot see in this photo are the hundreds of mosquitoes leaving me little bite-shaped souvenirs of my visit to the epicenter.

I don't have any pictures of me in any of those places, since I visited them alone and would have felt really silly asking someone else to take my picture. Not to mention that it was very isolated, particularly in Toblach, so there weren't a lot of people around to ask!

I have a picture of me in front of Mozart's birthhouse, but I hate the picture because the lighting makes it look like I have no chin and that my face is kind of fused to my neck. Bleagh.

With a risk of asking a silly question, what exactly were you doing 30 feet above the ground dressed as construction worker in a search for the skyscraper lost?

It was a high ropes course, perfectly safe. I did a couple of other more difficult events but I do not have pictures of those. This one was not a zip line, it was called the "High Beam". Simply, my challenge was to traverse all the way across a questionably stable beam and then jump. Extremely frightening yet an exhilerating experience.
