There is something wrong with your Play Station (or possibly TV), Greg.
You sure? (I never go online on the PS3)... Planet Ubloobideega does turn everything bluish because of its atmosphere.  :o

Perhaps it was that time that Karl became a blue mage because he wanted to take down an enemy that wanted to destory Vana'diel. At first I thought, wtf? Karl is a bard! Maybe somewhat of a spoony bard, but a bard nonetheless. So after switching to blue mage, he scoured all of the critters in Vana'diel to learn their spells and ended up preparing for the final battle. He ended up subbing bard, though, so he went as a level 99 BLU/49 BRD and confronted the final enemy. That enemy was Saul Dzorevashvili, who plays as a level 99 Jew level 99 WHM/49 SCH (white mage/scholar) who likes to cast the Holy spell often. He plays those jobs because of his failed attempts at leveling the bard job. In the end, Karl attacked Saul with his ultimate attack, the Viola Sonata! Saul dissolves, with his final words, "That is the world's worst viola sonata..."

Karl during the fight:

Karl as a bard, during a concert. His humbleness literally transforms the entire size of his body:

Well you wouldn't think Ubloobideega looked like that if it was working fine..

It was actually quite an evil piece because it starts with the viola section quietly playing a lyrical theme alone in the key F# major (six sharps, plus a lot of accidentals and no reliable tonal center). Considering there wasn't much rehearsal time, I was very happy with the result and grateful to have the opportunity.

Evil??  But I love your 10th symphony, Gustav!  (Now, as you're clearly still alive, despite all we've been told, could you think about finishing it?)

Err... umm... sure... It was Alma who told you I was dead, wasn't it? ::) Go figure.

Actually, that's a huge coincidence right there. I've never heard what exists of Mahler 10 (though I've heard of it), but I just checked IMSLP and saw the opening. It's a totally different melody (and mine is in 9/8 time), but it fits the description I gave perfectly.

Cool picture. I like the mural! I'm curious -- did you take this with the intention of posting it here? ;D
