Just serving those from the Southern Hemisphere, here.  :D
... music is not only an 'entertainment', nor a mere luxury, but a necessity of the spiritual if not of the physical life, an opening of those magic casements through which we can catch a glimpse of that country where ultimate reality will be found.    RVW, 1948

Well spotted Johan - most people here would have naively put it down to technical incompetence.  8)  ;D

PS if you click on where it says 'image' it appears the right way round.

I remember in physics class, the teacher says the image landing on our retina is up side down. Now I finally see evidence of it!

I do, I do (as occasionally reported in the wine thread) but my collector instinct is strong.  ;)

Great photo! It's always nice to get a face with your posts. You look kind of like Max Bruch (minus the spectacles):

Loose 50 pounds and 10 inches of beard from Leif Segerstam and you are getting close as well.

As one of my retirement gifts, the English department made a special version of this "Breaking Bad" poster! (It's a little hard to read, but on the meth containers it states, "Macbeth Study Guides"--mine was notoriously punishing...)

Here's slightly younger me...

Peace and Love: Ethan (our son) and me taking in the Ringo Starr show at the Paramount Theater last night in downtown Denver. Fabulous time and one of our music goals to see a Beatle perform. Ringo is 75(?), but still putting on a fabulous show mixed with Beatle, Ringo, Mister Mister, Santana, Todd Rudgren, and Toto hits due to the All Stars in his band that have been with him for four years. You can tell that they have really gelled as the concert did not seem choppy and rather just a band up there having a blast and playing great music.  (sorry for the repeat Karl and George)
