I am explaining this to Vanessa:

"It comes from Shakespeare, you see.
To Be or Not to Be.
Beorn.
Got it?"

"I know there are side-effects to reading too many books!"
Do what I must do, and let what must happen happen.

I have to say that I hadn't noticed that before...

I was just kidding of course.

As for Olde English Form of Spelling, I doubt it. It may just be Bjorg. They don't teach spelling in Minnesota.

Surely not with a G? And that j isn't very common in English, I can imagine it being replaced by e in this case (Byorn would obviously be closer to the original).
Minnesota???

Certainly, and a great character he is. I have read the thing two or three times, albeit translated in Finnish (an excellent translation). Some day I should get the English original.

And welcome back, too, Dave!
