To be boringly mundane, I think it's A--arrow-Z to suggest Amazon has everything "from A to Z".

But not wanting to be boring,  I decided it's a banana.

You're correct about the meaning, Jeffrey. From A-Z.
Although the banner here on GMG doesn't contain the "AMAZON" above the arrow, so without the letters it's a bit phallic.

So I voted for banana.
