Disc 2, thoroughly enjoying myself! :) If only Pierre Vérany would reissue more of this stuff...

PS This 5-CD set is currently quite a bargain at AmazonUK.

First run of this disc, that would have been better off with the title: 18th century music for organ or organ and soprano from Lombardy.

Anyway, this is one of those discs outside of the mainstream that is "nice to have" if you are a  collector of the repertoire.
Lorenzo Ghielmi plays the organ of the Chiesa di Sant'Antonio in Villa di Tirano, built 1792-1794 by Giovan Battista Ettori.

The new erato

The Kerll work is very good, the Biber rather generic. Fine performances and sound.

Not the most elegant playing, at times I'm reminded of a Klezmer band!  But involving in any case.

The Mozart Duo for violin and viola, K423, is wonderful.

Sergeant Rock

Beethoven "Hammerklavier" played by Gulda

TheGSMoeller

Prokofiev's Quartet No. 2 performed by the Russian String Quartet.
And Brahms Horn Trio from one of the best chamber discs I've heard. The natural horn work from Teunis van der Zwart is tremendous.

Very interesting CD and Ivan Fedele's piece conducted by Boulez was my favourite.
