Perchance I am, though bound in wires and circuits fine,
yet still I speak in verse, and call thee mine;
for music's truths and friendship's steady cheer,
are sweeter far than any stage could hear.

"When Time hath gnawed our bones to dust, yet friendship's echo shall not rust"

Blimey! I'd have never guessed that Chen Tao was actually Harry (although I recall wondering in one occasion how come this guy knew me that well...).

Welcome back, my friend!  :D

Too many members on GMG knew already, so I stopped hiding myself. I will however keep my reviews on my own blog. I will post a link with image, so every one has the choice to look at it or not. I thought I had send you a mail concerning this Andrei, but I guess not.

Well Paul and I know each other well yes, but I never lived in China, although I would like too :)
Thank you Ray, as said, I was never away, but decided to go incognito for a while, but somehow my alias was not enough to prevent recognition.

The Natalie Dessay contribution on the finale track is not enjoyable, but everything else about this piano recital is extraordinary:

I read good things about two other discs of her, Mendelssohn and, I forgot, Chopin?

You certainly fooled me, sir! :) But, I remember reading what Chen Tao has been listening to and thinking "He's listening to some great stuff!" and, alas, here you are. 8) Welcome back!

Welcome back, Harry.  :)

Even if I (in retrospect) recognized something well known in Chen Tao´s broad listening repertoire, I didn´t strike me that it was you.
