An Amazon MP dealer listed this for $19.99, so I took the bait.

I've always had great respect for Paddington because he is amusingly English and a eccentric bear He is a great British institution and emits great wisdom with every growl. Of course I have Paddington at home, he is a member of the family, sure he is from the moment he was born. We have adopted him.

I ordered mine at amazon.de,

Very nice indeed. Really enjoy Arnold's music. Do you have any favorite works, erato?

The new erato

Despite ordering this set, I have quite a lot of Arnold discs, including the Naxos symphony series. A couple of the symphonies, perhaps no 5 and 9 comes to mind, but mye favorite is perhaps the concerto for 2 violins.

Forgot to mention that I bought this (didn't even wait for my B-day) which I desperately needed:

  [asin]B01A72FXH0[/asin]

Got it for  around £57 the day it was released on Amazon. Its price has started to rise. Seems that Decca isn't issuing many of these complete works editions. Anyway, I am unfamiliar with Bartok's solo piano music, most of his chamber music, save for the 6 string quartets. There will be so much to explore.

Félicien David is an easy french opera composer.  His music is a little bit like an old jean which I have been wearing for years and fits me perfectly.

Thnks for the tip. I have pre-ordered mine at Amazon.ca (way cheaper because of the exchange and shipping costs, but coming out only on April 15).

I'll be buying this in the next few months. This publisher has some great looking stuff. I love the Gouvy!

That should be an excellent set indeed. So many classic performances therein. Enjoy!

Curious about this one. I'm in the market for a Poulenc piano set. Well, not really "in the market" in the conventional sense; more like "I'm a GMGer so I always feel like buying more stuff."

Re-listening to the selections recorded by Kun-Woo Paik made me think I should get some more of the music, not just another version of the few pieces I've heard.  I'll have it in a few days to see if that thought was fruitful.

A splendid set. I got mine a few days ago and have been very impressed with the packaging, especially the translated ltexts for the vocal works!
