Finding this one on Amazon was tricky, since they list Frank Martin as the composer.  ?

You'll have to let me know what you think of that Ives recording, Greg. Do you have Morlot's other Ives recordings? Any good? Sorry if I've inquired about this before, but I couldn't remember.

Hi, John. I only have the Symphony 3/4 release under Seattle/Morlot, which is fantastic, and this newest release is just as fine. They both boast great sonics and playing. Which the clarity of these recordings is ideal for Ives scoring and multi-layered writing.
One of the highlights for me is the ending of the 3rd Symphony, which has the bells dying away after the final chord for over 30 seconds, it creates a beautiful atmosphere.

Sounds awesome, Greg. Thanks for the feedback! 8) My next order may very well include these two Morlot Ives recordings.

You're welcome. I haven't listened to their 2nd Symphony performance yet, will let you know if I do.

I hope you enjoy that as much as I have. I've had it since it was first released. My favorite Bolero.

Hi, Baron. I saw it mentioned on here a while back, perhaps it was you that was raving about it. But yes, this Bolero is phenomenal.

I think I brought it up while ranting about Munch's Bolero. Glad you enjoyed it.

Once upon a time, I'm sure. I've beaten myself up regularly for passing on the Virgin box of Fretwork when it was available for a pittance - and behold, I see it seems to be back in print! Grabbed it from Amazon UK mp too now. I can compare them later. ;)

My 3 favorites are Hesperion, Fretwork and Rose Consort, so maybe you can help me reducing it into 2 or even 1  ;)
