I picked up Volume 17 of the Chicago Symphony "From the Archives" series for $5 used in a shop.  This is the all-Beethoven one, including a live recording of Gilels and Martinon doing the "Emperor" Concerto.

I mentioned earlier the order of the 8-disc set  The Art of Dutch Keyboard Music by Jacob Bogaart, it arrived today, I'll post the back cover with the contents.  The DVD on two steam operated lines in Argentina and Paraguay is a German edition of a Japanese production, I think I'll sleep well having gone through an hour of that, I will leave the FRANÇAIX and BEACH discs for tomorrow as well as a short opera bouffe by IBERT that has already disappeared and some duos by PAGANINI for violin and bassoon

I think the Francaix Octet is a good work, know it from an Esbjerg Ensemble recording.
