Thanks for alerting us to that - I plan to start with 29' of Schoenberg, Webern and Ives (is that all?) and work my way up to 2:03:00 of Cage.  It will be very interesting to compare a BBC arts programme from 1968 (Ustinov on Diaghilev) with more modern productions - will the later ones seem "dumbed-down"?  I wonder.

Alas, it looks as though these episodes are limited to the British Isles.  It's a pain when I add up how many years I paid the licence fee.  I must confess to going round in circles with these links, as I knew that the geographic limitation of the BBC iPlayer applies only to TV and not Radio - and then realised that these shows were broadcast on BBC Four and not BBC Radio 4.  And I thought that there were still only BBC1 and BBC2  :) (not forgetting the advert-filled BBC America).

http://www.lamnia.co.uk/ - think of it as a replacement for the license fee.
