I'm afraid after the experience we had with a Hyundai I will never even look at a Hyundai as long as I live.   >:(

Hyundai I? Could you please describe the fabrication year, the car model and the problems you had with with it?

Based on my experience  (2004 Hyundai Accent made in South Korea, visits to shop exclusively for regular oil filter/air filter change and mandatory technical inspection every 2 years) and occasionally do-it-yourself replacing left or right front-light bulb, my next car will certainly be another Hyundai (I30 appeals to me the most; if I have enough money it'll be the new Elantra).  :D

The Hyundai corporation must be tracking my online posting. They seem to know I'm lusting after the i40/Sonata because I received this in the mail today. It's damned tempting...the bastards  :D

If you don't need a very large carrier (but still large enough for carrying almost any IKEA stuff), then go for I30. I tested one last summer and was delighted. If God pleases it'll be our next car.. (One additional advantage is that the rear end is short so there's no problem for my/your wife's parking it.  ;D )
