Need help identifying this music for film restoration project

Hello,

The attached piece of music is from an old Australian TV program for children which we are restoring. It is captured from a 16mm film soundtrack. Part of the track is missing. I would like to identify the piece so it can be replaced with a complete copy.

It actually sounds like a piece of production music (i.e. from a commercial library like Chappell), but experts I have consulted cannot place it.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have to say I don´t recognise it but I would agree with you that it does sound like something written for the program. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
