Whatever... Post your "This Shit's Getting Really Stupid Really Quickly" Rant here!! ;) :D  :blank:

"And he looked, and beheld, as it were, a light like a dove descended and lit upon Kerry, so that his words dropped like honey on the new morning dew. And they beheld him, and they all spoke of their greatness. And all was right with the world."

Remember ALL of Pavlov's experiment? Not just the first part?

Hey Svenska, how are you feeling this morning? Basking in the glow your country's getting today with... shhh... The Prescience ? Bow... BOW before the King of This World!! :'( :'( :'( Weep tears of Joy at The Announcement!! Proclaim the greatness of the Swedish System, and by any and all means necessary bring this Golden Cup of Bliss our way. We have waited to long for your Heavenly Nectar of Benevolent Socialistika Conscientius... oh how you've cradle the bosom of Africa and nurtured the wonder of its fruits!! Oh! Joy!! Sing it on the mountain, Salvation Has Arrived Driving a Citroen and bearing Johnnson's Festilse- Varsogoo!!

Oh I can't stop weeping these liquid diamonds of joy at the near thought of his returning home to the Homeland (not Mother- or Father-, we are more enlightened than that- just LOOK at us, and genuflect).

YOU RACIST! How dare you think that!! Get off this site right now. Anyone... ANYONE caught even questioning the greatness of our leaders, or the golden age of peace which is about to befall us, ANYONE being negative in any way will be dealt with the the harshest of... loving tolerance... just register your complaints here at wewontsecretpoliceyou.com!! ???

It is obvious that only someone with paranoid leanings of a conservative, and who is indeed in need of Haldol, would even question the righteousness of grace of our overlord's... I mean, loving protector's of our souls... NO reasonable person can refute the rightness of the Right Ones. You're so ungrateful and do not deserve his kindnesses. May you all fall fate to that which you wish upon your enemies, oh you enemies of all that is good and right and holy, which is all happening RIGHT NOW!!

And no, I don't believe a word of it. Same bunch of jokers as last time... and... the time before, and before that, and before that, and...

Exactly how many countries has Iran invaded since 1979? Exactly, now.

This is a perfect example of the Hegelian Dialectic. You, the commoner, are still the booty to whomever wins. Wake up people!!

[Almost indecipherable ranting follows]

From the few tidbits I can decipher - eg, "...Kerry, so that his words dropped like honey on the new morning dew." - it seems you had a negative reaction to John Kerry's plea for Congressional support in bombing Syria.  I'm not sure why you mentioned Iran, since it will not be purposely and publicly attacked for a while, if at all.

Why the negative reaction, though?  How else will the US get to test upgrades to cruise missile systems?  How else will the new-ish Littoral Combat Ship – currently in danger of budget cuts – prove itself in combat, ensuring a larger order for contractors?  How else will the newest drone technologies be tested against sophisticated Russian defense systems in a real combat environment?  And how else will Russia get big, new orders for military hardware from one of its client states?

This is about saving people, about promoting democracy, and about defending the sanctity of presidentially pronounced Red Lines!

I will say that I am quite fond of John Kerry's sweet new phrase: Armchair Isolationism.  It is as immediately catchy as it is vacuous and dishonest.

Look at the video

I did. So who are the sheep that you, I guess, claim are following a messianic born-in-the cradle of Africa (rather than America) Socialist Obama? The American public? But the vast majority are completely against Obama on Syria! Politicians? They are all running to cover their asses (as usual) and aren't even separating along party or ideological lines (i.e., some Democrats are for bombing; some against. Some Republicans are for bombing, some against. I see few of any stripe salivating over Obama on this). The Sheep are European socialists? Can't be. Obama has almost no allies in the world on this issue. King of the World? Really, dude, are you insane? You sure have a warped sense of reality.

So WTF, snyprrr....try speaking plain English if you think you actually have a valid point here.

Thanks for the well needed humor!

Personally, I liked the "never again" (hint hint) and the mentions of 'Nuremberg' and "Munich". Yes, Kerry doesn't need a teleprompter to ride the pony, haha!! Oh, and the HAIR!!! :o With his poor poor wife behind him- save Israel!!

Oh joy of joys, they've figured out how to go to war and Barry says "this has nothing to do with MY credibility",... and goes on to basically say it concerns YOUR credibility. Oh, he makes Reagen's teflon comparisons pale by comparison.

Exactly HOW many decades have some of these politicians served their overseas masters? And the people love to have it so.

After the 'gay marriage' thing, I went to an old fashioned baptist church just to see what would be the sermon, and, it was sad to see how behind the times the old fashioned christian has become. They simply can't understand how we got here, and their world really almost mirrors the Repub/Democr dichotomy. Were they complaining when Bushy was doing it? I mean, it almost seems as if churchianty actually worships jews and the state of israel.. as if scripted from Perle, Wolfy and the rest. I mean,

nevermind, haha!! ::) :laugh:

Actually, the sheep video was an afterthought. It's just funny, doncha think? I'm curious what point you would like to make about what's happen these days,... seriously,... you live in Germany, you should have an interesting perspektiv. I hear you might lose your cars on the weekends,... but maybe incest will finally become legal (yaaay!!!)????

And no, the secret po po,... I mean the Obamacare Investigators... no, they haven't been implemented yet. No, I must've gotten you on your first cup of joe,... I'm pretty sure that I'm not disagreeing with you on any point here, I was just letting loose with a little exasperation,... not very well either...

You should know where MY problem always starts with these things: the actual videos of the so-called victims. Show me more, or it just looks like a staged and scripted event. If it really happened, wah wah, it's sad, but... Honey Badger Just Dont Give a Fuck:

Sarge, what do you think is the great question of our age: Intolerance, or Militarism? Think very carefully. Surely, when the so-called Peaceniks (those who always clamor for 'Tolerance') get in control, they'll murder even more wondrously than the outright sadists. Militarism is the problem. We need a weapon that dismantles weapons? Once the local plumber becomes the enemy, well, where does it end? What would Nero do?

Pelosi said the very same thing yesterday.  It's what politicians are supposed to say.  I'd say it's meaningless jibber-jabber, but it's not; it's good old-fashioned cynicism.  Why, literally just today, the Gray Lady posted a long article on Paul Kagame, appropriately labeling him the Global Elite's Favorite Strongman.  Here's a man lefties should be howling to put on trial for war crimes in the Congo, but, for now, he's our SOB.  Assad isn't.

Why is this reasoning so unimpressive? I think it's because the underlying assumption that all dictators are worthy of targeting is not only implausible given the set of reasons targets are legitimately chosen, but for the deeper reason that it's motivated by a cynical calculation that since all wrongs can't be righted the only fair thing (to pretend to believe) is to right none of them. The concern for fairness, I suggest, is where cynicism comes in.

Suppose I say "You're right, let's get Kagame first!", what then? In a nanosecond the cynico-isolationists would retort "What about Assad? He's gassing Syrian children!" The object of the exercise is always to prefer interventions that won't happen to one that will while still sounding like you are concerned about the "world situation". More cynical than that it's kinda hard to be.

Why not drop the pretense and just say it's no concern of yours? In my case it's because I don't believe that it's no concern of mine. I'm a citizen of the world's mega-power. I consider it our responsibility to handle tough jobs because we can and others can't, and we are doing it to guarantee that the world is one that we want to live in, which is compatible with what most other people want but incompatible with extremists of various kinds.

We can probably defer the confrontation with Iran for now and hope the new government will be permitted to moderate policy. War is not always the only possible outcome, nor is it the only way to be defeated.

Pure, unreconstructed horseshit, the fantasy of a liberal imperialist.  At least be able to admit what you really are.

I never offered pretense here: Kagame and the horrors in the Congo - 5 million+ dead as compared to the paltry 100K or so dead in Syria - is not my problem.  Nor is Syria.  The US not retreating from permanent war footing is my problem, and that's the problem that needs to be addressed.  The putrid moral justifications for war are also my problem.  They are all false.
