Ten thumbs

Some piano pieces:
An obvious one:
Chopin - Sonata Op.35 Finale

In the same vein
Heller - Prelude Op.150 No.7

Après Bach:
Fanny Mendelssohn - Toccata in C min (einstimmung)
A day may be a destiny; for life
Lives in but little—but that little teems
With some one chance, the balance of all time:
A look—a word—and we are wholly changed.

[Matisse] was interested neither in fending off opposition,
nor in competing for the favor of wayward friends.
His only competition was with himself. — Françoise Gilot

The String Quartet by Andries... uh, now I forget,... anyhow, it is a piece called 'Facing Death', and it is sort of based on a Charlie Parker thing, where each instrument is just playing lines, very be-boppy.
