For me this feature keeps appearing, disappearing, re-appearing, disappearing. I wish I could figure out why...
It does that, but when you click to see new posts, click the thread link again, and then it should work.

And for those of you freezing in the northern hemisphere, we are having a record-breaking summer where I live, with temperatures in the mid 30's (thats mid 90's F for those that still follow old units).

That's a clue to the quiz below:

The first is from Stockhausen's Gruppen, the moment where the brass hurl chords over all the three orchestras. I am assuming the other is an electronic piece by Stockhausen, but can't place it exactly. It could be Oktophonie.

It's Kontakte (I think the version without instruments).

Here's an easy one

Did you guys use an actual cow for the moo?

EigenUser

Haha no, but we joked about it. It's really just a sampler (other synthesized sounds in the piece included things such as "bop organ" and "accordion"). It really took some practice to be able to play this part without all of us (conductor included) falling apart laughing.

Yes! I love this part! It always makes me want to get up and dance, even though I don't know how. The Aksak-Hoketus part is so short and I'm always disappointed when it ends.  :(

I'm bumping this thread. I liked it, yet it has fallen to page 5  :'( . Anyone care to guess or add a new clip?

Marc, you've got to reveal your last challenge.  It's driving me crazy...I have heard it.

Sanantonio, have you re-entered the thread with one of the thread links right above any given post number/time/date?  THat worked for me, albeit on two somewhat outdated Win machines.
