the phone rings and somebody says,
"hey, they made a movie about
Mahler, you ought to go see it.
he was as f*cked-up as you are."

But, dude, you had to look up, see it, and decide it was something worth capturing.

It seems like whenever my mom tries to take a picture with her iPad she ends up pushing the "front camera" button and screams at her image. It really is an unflattering view, especially with that lower quality camera on the front.
Beethoven's Op. 133 -- A fugue so bad that even Beethoven himself called it "Grosse".

This will be among my last uploads to flickr before I get my hands on the D7100 8) (with the AF-S 18-105mm f/3.5.5.6G VR kit zoom, with which I will have to do for a long time)  which should be mailed here in a day or two. As I'll be leaving to the summer cabin tomorrow for 10 days or so, I might have to wait until then before I get it..  >:(

Time to bump this thread!

And a mighty fine bump it is.

Are you still at the cabin?

No, we returned on Friday. I guess I should post in the WAYLTN thread.  0:)
(and obviously I got the camera just before we left for the cabin - shutter count is rather high by now :) )

Still waters. Lovely. Extremely attractive colors. The image is so restful...zen-like.

The Thinker
Really beautiful, lovely tones & light, looks very much like a painting, except for the grain, obviously. :D
Good job with the composition, and managing to make the pose look candid!

Very nice! It makes me think of Mendelssohn's "Fingal's Cave" :). Perhaps that's a bit stormier, though.
